Client Introduction
Test Scope /Test Scenario:
This is a staff-aug
Disprz has come through CEO Pradeep Soundarajan, Customer attended a few workshops w.r.t that they liked the way Moolya works and would like to go for Regression & Automation Testing
Customer wants to start with Regression of the whole system, once after regression, they would like to go with Automation
Now as a part of regression Moolya is supposed to start writing test cases from scratch, there are test cases with customers which are outdated(almost a year)but they also wanted to add new/modified features to the existing test cases
Moolya's aim is to do a regression for the first 3 months & designing mindmaps for every feature, using these mindmaps we have to plan writing test cases & moving them to production
Using the incremental method customer would like to push the code to make the environment stable
Problem Statement / Challenges:
Customer assigning tasks that are heavy and time is given for two days to finish.
The customer wants to replace a candidate who raised his voice/behavior on the difficulty of time constraints, due to his replacement customer extended the deadlines of the project
The customer wants to replace a candidate who raised his voice/behavior on the difficulty of time constraints, due to his replacement customer extended the deadlines of the project
Another challenge was going to the office for 1 week for every 2 months which is been changed and asking candidates to work from the Chennai office regularly, the other two candidates were not interested to work from the Chennai office so the customer asked them to replace those two candidates as well
Resources are getting assigned with a lot of work in a week's time(which 3 days to write test cases, and mindmaps for one feature on a whole system & the remaining two days are for doing regression on some other features which are outdated & assigning tickets & to give a sign-off to move it to production)
Mentioned bug leakage happened in production as candidates were not coming to the office & there is no coordination with the other teams, this would have not if candidates come to the office & can get resolved the issues instantly by talking to dev teams
Some tickets required a lot of time to get clarifications and do testing, but the customer says that they have given 3 weeks of KT where a candidate should be knowing the product well,& use the existing test cases as reference & do exploratory testing
Customer asking not to follow the existing regression test cases & do the exploratory testing on own, execute the test cases based on the KT provided
As a staff-aug, Moolya is facing issues with the process
Disprz expects every candidate should create a mindmap for every feature as its a value of addition from Moolya
Our Approach to the solution
Moolya asked candidates to speak with a manager to reduce the tickets which are assigned heavily
On assigning candidates dedicatedly to Automation where they can be involved in regular sprint cycles
As people risk is more than process risk, so Moolya trying to fix people risk first & then process
Initiated process to replace one candidate
Test Coverage in contrast to application scale
UI Test Automation Approach
Test Data Management
Test data is the key to executing automation test suites in different environments (staging, e2e, production). This section aims to understand the process or steps needed for data setup, cleanup, and reusability.
The above objective can be implemented with the concept of Test data setup and tear down functions in the Automation Framework

Case Studies
With NFTs buzzing around the markets like busy honey bees, Lysto offered Moolya a great opportunity to work for KGFVerse. It is India's first ever metaverse project conceived and launched by Hombale Films Productions as a promotional event for the release of the film: K.G.F Chapter 2 in association with BookMyShow.
Each team and every business we work with comes with their own challenges, and their own story. One such story in the making as we post this is our journey with Collibra.
