Rockabilly Fairytale

Rockabilly is one of the earliest styles of rock & roll music, dating back to the early 1950s in the United States. From the music came style, as american youths came to share the the roadhouse spirit and the style that rock & roll symbolises. Notable examples of Rockabilly aesthetic include Elvis, James Dean, Happy Days, and Grease.

Share your love for this era gone by, where the cool kids hanged at diners and looked fly as James Dean. Transform your wedding into a living time machine as we send you and your guests into the coolest era in america's history

Your Wedding

Event Design

To make your wedding a dream, we'll handle all the creative design for the event. With custom made furniture and tableware, we'll transform the wedding ceremony and reception into your rockabilly dream.

Our concept design also includes:

  • An authentic rockabilly tribute band to play the greatest hits of the 1950s.
  • An Elvis impersonator to entertain your guests.
  • Authentic 1950s drag cars to carry you and your guests to the ceremony.

The Venue

Mel's Drive-In

Mel's Drive-In is the perfect venue for any rockabilly wedding. Opened in 1949, Mel's is the most famous rockabilly wedding venue in America today.

With an authentic Vegas styled wedding chapel and a reception hall tribute to all that was cool in the 50s, you won't lose a moment throughout your special day.

Catering

Rock & Roll; Burger's & Fries

All our food is provided by our venue hosts Mel's and are all made to suit the theme of the wedding.

Entree and finger food:

  • Puff dogs
  • Pluto dogs
  • Nacho covered pastry puffs
  • Twinkies

Main:

  • American styled In and Out burgers with a side of cheesy fries; or
  • American styled Hotdog with a side of cheesy fries

Desert:

  • Oreo pudding
  • Cream and soda spiders

Cake:

  • Deluxe 3-layed Rockabilly styled red velvet cake.

All drinks will be themed based upon popular drinks from the rockabilly era.
