Kevin Xie, PhD, is a Senior Health Care Transformation Fellow at CHTI. His expertise in artificial intelligence is allowing CHTI to develop tools to make care delivery better for patients and practitioners. Penn Medicine is already scheduling surgery cases more effectively thanks to a productive algorithm Kevin helped create. He is also at work on a tool that will quickly assemble key information from a patient's chart: pulling from notes, labs, imaging, and more to reduce the time clinicians spend searching for information, and maximize the time they spend caring for patients.
