PennHOPES at CHTI empowers care team members across Penn’s downtown Philadelphia hospitals to purchase small but meaningful gifts for their patients with the help of philanthropic support, rather than at their own expense.
One PennHOPES participant purchased slippers for a cancer patient experiencing foot pain during their inpatient stay at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Other meaningful gifts included a craft kit to ease anxiety before surgery, cookies for a patient celebrating a birthday in their hospital room, and a plush goat for a child with epilepsy and developmental disabilities.
Your gift will help CHTI expand this much-loved program from our core sites across every hospital with Penn practitioners.
