Executive Director Raina M. Merchant, MD, MSHP, leads a research and operations portfolio at the intersection of digital media and health and aims to bridge new technologies in the fields of cardiovascular health, mental health, cancer care, surgical care, public health, health equity, and resuscitation science.
As the Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer for the University of Pennsylvania Health System, her leadership initiatives promote wellbeing across Penn Medicine. She is also a tenured Professor of Emergency Medicine and has secondary appointments in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care, the Division of General Internal Medicine, and the Division of Health Policy.
