Welcome to Xperience North Highland, your chance to do something different this term. Represent your university and compete in a team challenge to solve a strategic business problem. It's your opportunity to get a taste of real life consulting work as an intern or analyst in our challenge aimed at 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students.

So who are North Highland and what are we about?

Well you're still here, but what exactly do you have to do?
X-NH is a student consulting challenge that North Highland have run for 6 years. Many previous students have gone on to work with us since graduating.
Throughout September and October, we'll be recruiting teams from 7 selected universities across the country to compete in the X-NH challenge. Teams will be guided and mentored by our experienced analysts and consultants and will get the chance to meet some of our most senior consultants throughout the competition.
Acceptance onto your university's team will secure you trips to our office located in Covent Garden in the centre of London, as well as the chance to learn a variety of new skills to develop your business acumen and your understanding of consulting.
The Challenge
Your Students Union body is performing poorly and it's struggling to offer value to the university and its students."
You have been approached as a team of North Highland consultants to propose an idea to turn the venues' fortunes around. As a team, your university will be competing against others to find the best solution and pitch back to senior management.
You will be managed by two experienced North Highlanders throughout the process who will help train and support you every step of the way. The challenge will run through November, culminating in a final day of presentations at our office on Friday the 27th.

To apply you'll need to send a copy of your CV and a cover letter or short video recorded on your laptop or phone. Your cover letter or video should be short and concise and tell us who you are, why you would excel at the challenge and what your dream consulting project and client would be. Once you're done, just send both through to us at [email protected].
The selection process will run from 28th September - 26th October so get your application in quickly to secure your place on the team. We will be kicking off the challenge at our office in Covent Garden on the 30th October and the challenge will run up to the judging panel on 27th November. Good luck!
