While working at an advertising agency they co-founded, they saw firsthand just how cumbersome it was for companies to share content with just one link—the maximum many social platforms allow in a user’s bio.
To get around those limitations, the trio in 2016 launched Linktree: a tool that people and companies could use easily gather links on a single webpage.

Linktree, the market-leading linking platform, has raised $45M in Series B funding co-led by Index Ventures, an investor in Patreon and Discord, and Coatue, an investor in TikTok, with participation from returning investors AirTree Ventures and Insight Partners.
