About The Program

What we do.

All of Wake Hustle Grind's program provides participants with a holistic learning experience that combines essential mathematical skills, financial literacy, basketball fundamentals, and entrepreneurial mindset development. Through interactive sessions, practical activities, and engaging challenges, students will enhance their academic abilities, financial understanding, athletic skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.

How we elevate our children?

Individualized Attention: Recognize that each child is unique, with varying needs and abilities. Provide individualized attention and support to understand their specific challenges and strengths.

Structured Environment: Establish clear rules, routines, and expectations within the sports program. Consistent structure helps children feel more secure and organized, reducing anxiety and improving focus.

Break Tasks Into Manageable Steps: Break down sports skills and drills into smaller, manageable steps. Provide clear, step-by-step instructions and demonstrations to help children grasp and follow through with tasks more effectively.

Visual Aids and Cues: Use visual aids such as diagrams, charts, or visual schedules to reinforce instructions and expectations. Visual cues can help children with better understand and remember information, improving their engagement and participation.

Positive Reinforcement: Encourage and praise positive behavior and effort regularly. Positive reinforcement motivates children and boosts their self-esteem. Focus on small achievements and progress, celebrating successes along the way.

Metrics and Outcome Measures

We don't just blow money on fancy metrics provided by Ai Tools, we collaborate with parents and students to test and measure program succuess. In pur program, it's essential to measure various outcomes to assess the effectiveness of the program. Here are some outcome measures that we focus on to get better results for our students.

Assessing the increase in financial knowledge among participants through pre- and post-course tests covering topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and basic economics.

Assessing participants' intentions to apply what they've learned in real-life financial situations, such as planning for major purchases, investing for retirement, obtaining insurace, or starting a small business.

Gathering feedback from participants to measure their satisfaction with the course content, teaching methods, materials, and overall learning experience, which can inform future program improvements.

Getting their mind ready

Preparing young adults for the workforce involves equipping them with a combination of practical skills, knowledge, and personal attributes that are essential for success in the workplace, college, or starting their own business. Here are some key areas to focus aimed at preparing our students and young adults.

Provide opportunities for young adults to explore different career paths, understand their interests, strengths, and values, and develop a clear vision for their future careers.

Teach young adults how to search for job opportunities, write effective resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews, and follow up with employers. We have workshops and one-on-one guidance to help them navigate on understanding what they want to be when they grow up.
