The Mastermind

The Amalfi Coast edition.

Sweet the memory is to me

Of a land beyond the sea,

Where the waves and mountains meet;

Where amid her mulberry-trees

Sits Amalfi in the heat,

Bathing ever her white feet

In the tideless, summer seas.

From Amalfi, a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

We are building off our incredible Ireland Mastermind that concluded in an epic finale at Glin Castle. It was an amazing journey filled with incredible people.

A mastermind is only as good as the people in them.

This is your chance to gain the trust of business owners, high achievers, and lifelong strive-to-be-better-ers to help expose your blind spots and give you fresh new perspectives.

You want crazy ideas, and you want unreasonable optimism.

You want to leverage other people's experiences and failures.

You want to think forward and have a group around you that won't let you look back.

You want to be surrounded by people who know how to work, appreciate downtime, and love their life.

And you know us, we don't have time for B.S., caveats, and half-truths.

We know that endings are also beginnings.

We want to spend time building each other up, challenging each other's assumptions, growing our empires, and rising -

always rising.

You will conclude the mastermind a different person than who you were when you started.

Some people call it leadership development. Some call it self care. Some call it mental health.

Here is what you can expect.

  1. 1.Know where you want to go, know what is right for you and yours.
  2. 2.Understand how to lean into and leverage the liminal space of change.
  3. 3.Be more confident in creating a life that is more satisfying.
  4. 4.Gain skills around knowing how to stay the course, or when to pivot.
  5. 5.Make lifelong friends who know the real you, who have no preconceived notions of who you "should" be.
  6. 6.Learn about to support others without losing yourself.
  7. 7.Experience luxury travel that allows you to see yourself in a new way (we definitely stayed "above our station" on our last mastermind trip to Greece!).

The Journey

You will experience 15 hours of events over 6 months culminating in an international retreat. Each session is designed to provide perspective, expand your knowledge, and challenge your assumptions. The Mastermind culminates in an in-person retreat at Villa

Masterminds work because of the people - it's people like you who make magic by showing up, being engaged, and challenging the stories we tell ourselves.

And in this case, our international retreat venue restricts the size of our mastermind to 12 incredible participants (and your guest!).

Guided virtual conversations

We will guide the conversation around business topics, leadership challenges, philanthropic perspectives, and having fun. We will choose topics based on your interests that connect you with the life that you seek to design.

Topics we can cover include:

  • Career pivots.
  • Philanthropy.
  • Mindset.
  • Financial strategies.
  • Business talent.
  • Gratitude practice.
  • Success guilt.
  • Imposter syndrome.
  • Reassessment of priorities.

International Retreat, 14-21 October 2022

Glin Castle, Limerick, Ireland.

Upon arrival in Ireland, you and your guest will be escorted to the castle, where you can refresh in a private room with an ensuite bath.

A chef will prepare our group meals in a fully stocked kitchen, and castle staff will take care of your every need. And perhaps you'll even find your way through the secret passages.

We have partnered with the brothers Ó Súilleabháin (O'Sullivan - Owen and Mícheál) to host our Mastermind while we are in Ireland. They are widely known and respected storytellers, musicians, singers, entertainers, and local to the area around the castle. We will also be joined by their mother, Nóirín, who is an incredible musician, folklorist, and historian.

Here is the link to their tours site:

These three musicians will kick off our Ireland time with an intimate performance at the castle.

Scattery Island, in the Shannon Estuary just west of Glin Castle, represents the Golden Age of Irish history, the early Monastic Period. Ireland became a store house for the ancient wisdom of Europe as the Roman Empire collapsed and the continent was reduced to what we refer to as The Dark Ages.

With their mother Nóirín, we will go out for a day trip to this island. They will lead a tour of the island and sing the ancient Gregorian Chant that they monks would have sung in those spaces. There is also great poetry and story that they will tell along the old pilgrim paths in this world-renowned site.

One of the most stunning examples of a megalithic stone circle is about a 40 minute drive from Glinn Castle. Nóirín was born in cottage by the lake there, and they will lead us on a transformational experiences around that site.

They will perform grand finale, farewell event filled with joy and celebration.

We will structure time for programming, touring, connecting, decompressing, and having fun. And Irish pub time, of course! Slainte!
