Outcome.Life was founded with the mission of improving the employment outcomes for graduates. In a highly competitive graduate market, students that have some real-world experience as part of their course have an advantage over their peers when applying for jobs.

A core part of Outcome.Life's business is placing students and graduates into meaningful internships and supporting them through this very important initial stage of their career.

In Australia, approximately 1 in 3 interns are offered paid employment with their host company at the end of their internship. While our host companies are not required to offer their interns a job after their internship, we are so excited when they do!

How it works


We place energetic and enthusiastic interns into life-changing internships to help you put theoretical knowledge into practice within the real world.

We've designed a vocational course to provide you with the required skills and knowledge you need to be successful in a professional working environment and support you in your move towards full-time employment in your chosen industry.

Below are the basic details of the Program:

  • 4 online courses to get you 'Work Ready' (approx. 2 weeks to complete)
  • 2 face-to-face workshops focused on interview skills & resume improvement
  • 12-week internship placement within your desired industry or specialisation
  • Access to professional mentors, networking and local events
  • FairWork Australia compliant internship
  • Full insurance cover whilst on your internship


    • Course Fees

    The WRP & Internship Program does incur course fees which covers the online course, insurance and time it takes to engage and source your guaranteed internship opportunity.

    Outcome.Life offer a selection of payment options available upon request.


    Some of the organisations we work with


    Examples of what you could do while at your internship:

    IT Interns:

  • Business Analyst: Process mapping, market research, data analysis, general documentation and planning, CRM customisation
  • Developers: Frontend, backend using a variety of technologies. Most commonly html, Java, Javascript, CSS, MYSQL
  • IT Support: Helpdesk positions involving troubleshooting and solving issues with various hardware and software
  • Networking: Hardware and cloud-based

    • Accounting Interns:

  • Bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, stocktake, management accounting
  • Accounting assistance on MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks, Excel
  • Data entry and with appropriate supervision, construction of some financial statements
  • Income tax returns, FBT preparation, maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers, General Ledger reconciliations, Audits

    • Engineering Interns:

  • Civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, structural and more
  • Make an immediate impact in areas such as procurement preparation, energy auditing, site surveying and life cycle costing
  • Use of software such as AutoCad, Revit, STAAD and MATLAB

    • Business & Marketing Interns:

  • Digital marketing strategies, including paid advertising and SEO
  • Social media & blog content creation and scheduling
  • Target market, competitor & persona research
  • Assist with marketing budgeting & planning
  • Event planning, hosting & promotion
