The Royal Pita Maha, located in Ubud, the island's fabled spiritual heart, is the most beautiful, authentically Balinese and luxuriously appointed wedding venue in Bali. And perhaps just as importantly, the only great venue designed to hold weddings which are private and exclusive, so there are no intrusions or onlookers to spoil the privacy of your marriage.
This amazing luxury resort is a no-expense-spared cultural masterpiece, built and still owned today by none other than the famous Royal family of Ubud. We include your beautiful bridal bouquet, groom’s buttonhole, and at the end of your ceremony, fresh flower petal confetti for each of your guests, all beautifully presented by our master team of florists.

We don’t devote the day entirely to the bride, indeed the sumptuous Honeymoon Villa is at the disposal of the groom and groomsmen and is the perfect base to prepare and chill out in the lead up to the ceremony.


A Breathtaking Welcome

While you are relaxing with your bridal party in villa's, your family and friends are being greeted at the imposing stoned carved entry to the Royal Pita Maha as they arrive for your wedding. We arrange transport for your guests if they are staying at the venue's sister locations and when they do, they are welcomed to the spectacular viewing terrace which is reserved exclusively for your party and where a refreshing welcome drink awaits them. Spread out before them is the glorious panorama of the Ayung River Valley, with its towering walls of jungle peppered with a million and one palms.

The Sacred River Pavilion



The Royal Kadasa



Whether you have chosen the Sacred River Pavilion or the The Royal Kadasa, you will be blown away by soaring ceilings draped in chiffon and magnificent views over the Ayung River and lush tropical vegetation on the other. Your ceremony space will be adorned with flowers, seating beautifully sashed and a bridal aisle of fresh rose petals leads you to the decorated altar backed by a delicate curtain of flowers.
A Ceremony Beyond Your Imagining
Commitment ceremony or legal wedding, let us take care of it all. With Botanica Weddings, all the options are available to you. We can provide everything from a simple commitment ceremony with a Western celebrant to a legal wedding complete with religious minister, celebrant, civil registrar, chaperoned embassy visit and all the paperwork: ceremony text, marriage and legal certificates, all document translation and processing done for you, so all that's left for you to do is sign your name.

It is time to celebrate riverside at your private garden party.
You will be able to greet your guests whilst enjoying drinks and canapés together. Free-flow drinks are served for 1 hour including local beer, wines, soft drink, juices and water with a selection of canapés.

The Royal Procession
Just when your friends and family are wondering how you could have organised such a perfect day in a foreign country, your wedding steps up another notch. Cameras simply don’t know where to point anymore as a spectacular troupe of traditional Balinese dancers, torch bearers and musicians leads everyone to the reception. The surprise climax of this incredible spectacle is a Kecak dance and fire walking ritual. Drums pound, sparks fly: this is a show no one will ever forget.



The Grand Entrance
As night falls, it’s time to make a grand entrance through the massive, intricately carved stone gates of the Royal Temple courtyard. If ever there was a time to enjoy being centre stage, this is it.


A Royal Reception
Imagine a dinner setting so magical, it's as if you stepped straight into a fairytale. Tables beautifully set with white linen, elegant glassware and crockery. And to set it all off, those finishing touches which are all included: printed table seating list presented on an easel, floral table centrepieces, chair covers and sashes, tealights, place names, printed menus plus those special effects that bring gasps of delight and discovery: fairylights in the frangipani trees, glowing cream silk lanterns, 100 palm frond candles and flaming bamboo torches. You also have the option of the second level of the Kadasa Villa for your reception, and the Barong Room is available as a wet weather back up all set with a double set up at no additional charge.

Time to Raise a Glass
Your Exquisite Bali Wedding includes a 4 hour free flow beverage package including local beer, red and white wines, soft drinks and juices. Water stations and chilled refresher towels are also supplied. For $15 per bottle corkage, you are also welcome to BYO spirits which our bar staff will mix into cocktails for you, or you can even BYO your own wine and champagne.

Post-Reception Traditions
Once the reception dinner is over, the real party has only just begun. Your specially assigned Botanica Functions Manager will be on hand to ensure that all your carefully planned post dinner activities run without a hitch. The elevated open air dance pavilion right next the reception area is the perfect setting for your bridal waltz, close enough to be part of everything, just removed enough so people can still sit back and talk. Botanica Wedding’s DJ works closely with our coordination team to ensure the all the tracks you want are played and that the atmosphere is just right to get everyone up on their feet. Your wedding cake, beautifully decorated by one of Bali’s most celebrated cake makers, is the next star of the show. Choose from over 40 of the best designs, hand selected by the Botanica Weddings team.

Farewell Sparkler
A magical way to end the evening is to finish your night with the beautiful sparkler farewell. Your guests will farewell you into the night with a sparkler send off in a way that is intimate and perfect for photo's as a final end to your amazing wedding day.
It is the perfect end to a reception that will feel more like a dream than a reality.

Your softly lit bridal villa is the most romantic place to begin your new life together. A massive kingsize bed overlooking the valley and private pool plays centre stage to a room that is wall to wall 5 star luxury. As the first day of your married life dawns, chances are you’ll be famished. Time to break the wedding dress diet with a cornucopia of tropical fruit, croissants, eggs done any way you like, tea, cappuccino…whatever your heart and stomach desires.

With a late midday checkout you have time to make the most of this exquisite villa before joining your family and friends for your post wedding get together.

For us, it's not just about organising the details and making sure things are in place on wedding day.
We know that for a couple and their guests to have an amazing wedding experience, you need a great crew working to go above and beyond.
Not only will you work with a planner and have an online planning system to help you, we have a whole team on your planning and running your wedding day to ensure that every detail is covered and perfect. Our wedding crew includes:
- Wedding Day Co-ordinator - Looking after you from girls arrival to reception. Your coordinator/planner is really focussed on looking after the bride and her tribe for any needs that they have from getting ready to ceremony, photo tour & to the reception.
- Functions Manager - Looking after you and your guests from boys arrival to the end of the night. Our "FM" will ensure that you are all having an amazing time and that the guests have someone ensuring everything runs perfectly when you are having your photo's taken post ceremony.
- Crew Leader - Oversees all of the suppliers & setup of your wedding to ensure everything is perfect. Communicating with your co-ordinator & FM all day to keep them updated.
- 3 x Crew members to setup your chosen styling & decor, work with the suppliers, welcome and check in your guests, act as runners when needed (eg the groom forgot his speech or the bride didn't bring a garter - no problem, we'll make one!) and so much more.
- Sound Tech's Music is one of the most important elements of the day. Playing the right music at the right time at the right level can really determine whether the right note is hit (no excuses for the pun). We have our own sound tech's to ensure that your background music and special moments are perfect. No fuzzy cd players here.
To organise and run a wedding perfectly it takes a tribe and our Botanica Warriors are the best in the business.
