Inbound Marketing Proposal
Prepared for ACME Point-of-Sale
Since launching in 2006, ACME POS has grown organically to where it is today, largely through having a great product and good word of mouth. It's primary customer base is small 1-shop retail stores.
Looking forward, the ACME POS team has discovered that their biggest opportunity for growth is in a specific segment of the retail market: Retailers with 2-10 stores.
With a small marketing team, ACME POS are looking for Salted Stone's help in creating an inbound marketing program to help them increase the number of leads & customers from this ideal customer segment.
Salted Stone implement a strategic approach to sales and marketing that is focused on driving return on investment (ROI). Our overall strategy centres around a proven process of attracting visitors, converting visitors into leads, closing leads into customers, and reducing customer churn (or increasing lifetime value) with retention focused campaigns. All of this driven by compelling and genuinely helpful content, engaging offers and smart automation to educate and build trust with both prospects and customers.
To help ACME POS meet their growth goals, we'll follow the below process:
Persona development & brand discovery
We'll work together to understand your customers and build personas, as well as learning your brand and what it stands for.
Perform data research
We'll look at the existing data you have, including traffic sources, landing pages, lead sources, sales conversion rates, sales cycle time, etc. to understand where the biggest opportunities are.
Create a strong strategy plan
We'll use the insights we found from the data research combined with the understanding of your customer and brand to come up with a strategy to grow leads and opportunities.
Develop content tailored to your audience
We'll build out landing pages, blog posts, guides and other content tailored to your audience to help attract them to your website.
Serve content over digital channels
We'll promote your content over multiple digital channels, including search engines, social media sites, online communities and more, to help you reach and attract your target audience.
Convert targeted buyers into qualified leads
We'll setup the systems and processes to convert the targeted buyers landing on your website into qualified leads
Retarget leads to move them down the sales funnel
We'll setup the automated tools and workflows to retarget leads across email, Facebook, Google and more to ensure they're constantly seeing your key messages and moving down the sales funnel towards purchase.
Setup marketing automation to pass sales ready leads to reps
We'll implement the marketing automation tools and workflows needed to identify sales ready leads and send them to your reps

Terms & Conditions
We personally hate being made to read long winded, lawyer-written terms & conditions, so we've decided not to put you through the pain of that.
Instead, we've taken what we think are the key parts and written them in plain english.
If you do feel you need a more formal, lawyer-approved contract, we'd be happy to provide and/or sign one.
Scope of Project
Salted Stone will provide ACME POS with Marketing Consulting Services in accordance with what is outlined in the "Process" section of this proposal.
ACME POS will own the copyright for all material created under this agreement.
Information provided to Salted Stone will be used only to complete the agreed upon work, and will not be disclosed to any other party unless required to complete the work.
Salted Stone may provide services to other businesses during the term of this agreement, and ACME POS may commission other contractors to provide similar marketing consulting services as well.
Salted Stone may publicly acknowledge the work carried out and the results achieved for the purpose of marketing his services, with approval from the ACME POS team.
ACME POS will reimburse Salted Stone for any expenses incurred in providing the services where ACME POS has specifically authorised the expense.
Salted Stone will invoice ACME POS at the end of each month for the amount outlined in the "Costs" section of this proposal. ACME POS agrees to make payment to Salted Stone within 7 days of receiving the invoice.
Payment can be made via Direct Deposit.
If either party wishes to terminate the agreement, they need to give 30 days notice. Should the termination occur part way through the month, payment for the month will be calculated on a pro rata basis for the work already completed.
