THE VALENCIA EXPERIENCE

At IDA Valencia student-athletes (15-22 years old) from all around the world receive a professional academy football experience coupled with a specific, personalized academic program.

Intensive training and a competitive schedule, with a minimum of 12 hours per week on the field.

Full-board accommodation in sports residence minutes away from downtown Valencia.

Highly qualified coaching staff with years of experience in dealing with international students.

Training and trial opportunities with professional and semi-professional clubs. We have recently had IDA players successfully trial with both Villarreal CF and CD Castellon

Spanish lessons with a native Spanish speaking teacher are provided to the players.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

COMPETE IN MORE THAN 50 GAMES

Upon arrival in Valencia, players will attend tryouts with Spanish clubs in the area, such as Paterna CF, CD Recambios Colón, UD Vall de Uxo, Sport Catarroja CF. Selected players will train and compete in the Spanish youth leagues, alongside their training at the international development academy.

IDA will have a separate competitive schedule, made of weekly matches against different types of rivals depending on the period of the season, from professional La Liga academies to semi-professional academies and top teams from the area.

INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

IDA Valencia will attend the prestigious MIC Tournament in April in Barcelona. This event has become a compulsory event for football’s greatest institutions. Many of the largest clubs and national teams have joined in the tournament and featured their prominent young players who became big football stars not long afterward.

WORLD-CLASS ACADEMICS

The IDA works with leading educational institutions, including the US Performance Academy and Cambridge House College Valencia.

Located just minutes from downtown Valencia, Mas Camarena Resort serves as the home base for IDA Spain’s training and residential life. Just steps away, student-athletes pursue their education at Mas Camarena School, one of Spain’s leading international academic institutions. Together with TPH Academy, this partnership allows us to deliver a flexible yet structured academic model that supports every student-athlete’s journey.

The academic program combines TPH Academy’s NCAA-approved online curriculum with on-site academic support and access to Mas Camarena’s dynamic learning environment. Students benefit from a fully accredited education that aligns with NCAA eligibility standards while enjoying the flexibility needed to balance training, competition, and travel.

Student-athletes follow personalized academic pathways, with access to AP, Honors, and Dual Enrollment courses, as well as over 70 online electives in subjects such as languages, business, psychology, and sports science. With consistent oversight from a Head of Academics and dedicated Academic Success Coaches, each student receives individualized support to stay on track and thrive academically.

IDA Valencia will offer upon request academics courses at international private schools.

Players will be immersed in the Spanish culture.

Spanish classes will be available during the course of the year.

On bimonthly excursions, players will visit historical and characteristic Valencia sites.
