THE VALENCIA EXPERIENCE
At IDA Valencia, student-athletes ages 15 to 22 worldwide receive a professional academy football experience coupled with a specific, personalized academic program.
Intensive training and a competitive schedule, with a minimum of 12 hours per week on the field.
Full-board accommodation in sports residence minutes away from downtown Valencia.
Highly qualified coaching staff with years of experience in dealing with international students.
Training and trial opportunities with professional and semi-professional clubs. We have recently had IDA players successfully trial with both Villarreal CF and CD Castellon.
Spanish lessons with a native Spanish-speaking teacher are provided to the players.

COMPETE IN MORE THAN 50 GAMES
Upon arrival in Valencia, players will attend tryouts with Spanish clubs in the area, such as Paterna CF, CD Recambios Colón, UD Vall de Uxo, Sport Catarroja CF. Selected players will train and compete in the Spanish youth leagues, alongside their training at the International Development Academy.
IDA will have a separate competitive schedule, made of weekly matches against different opposition depending on the period of the season, from professional La Liga academies to semi-professional academies and top teams from the area.
INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS
IDA Valencia will attend the prestigious MIC Tournament in April in Barcelona. This event has become a compulsory event for football’s greatest institutions. Many of the largest clubs and national teams have joined in the tournament and featured their prominent young players who have gone on to play professionally.
Our Academy will also attend the Surf Cup International Salou. This tournament brings together teams from Spain, Portugal, France, USA, and other countries from around the world.

ACADEMICS
IDA works with leading educational institutions, including the US Performance Academy and Cambridge House College Valencia.
We understand how important life after high school is, so we make sure each student-athlete is set up for success. US Performance Academy has a goal-oriented and intentional focus on each student-athlete's future. USPA construct the athlete's calendar, schedule, and courses as a base to support their future goals.
ACADEMIC CURRICULUM
European Sports Business School offers a sports marketing bachelor's degree and multiple master's degrees. Students will work with La Liga Clubs and be guaranteed an internship somewhere in the world.
Universidad Europea is a major University similar to those in the US. Students have the option to be full-time at UE while training full-time with IDA.
Student-Athletes will be enrolled from November to April in a Spanish Coaching course, where they can deepen their knowledge of the game and have a taste for a potential career in coaching.
Players will be immersed in the Spanish culture and go on bimonthly excursions, where players will visit historical and characteristic Valencia sites.
Spanish classes will be available during the course of the year.
FUTURE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
IDA student-athletes will receive guidance on what their best pathway would be after IDA. We will support players in their desire to pursue:
A professional career in football - whether it be in Spain, other European countries, or North America, we will help them through our agents and collaborators.
Jeremy De Leon is just one of our student-athletes who have signed professional contracts. He now plays for Real Madrid.

A collegiate career - IDA has great experience in student placement in the US. We help our players determine if DI, DII, or DIII is the right fit for them and their goals.
One of IDA's most recent college success story was Arik Duncan. Arik is now playing DI soccer at The University of California Berkeley. Arik also played for UD Vall de Uxó during his time at IDA Valencia.
