THE VALENCIA EXPERIENCE
At IDA Valencia, student-athletes ages 13 to 22 worldwide receive a professional academy football experience coupled with a specific, personalized academic program.
Intensive training and a competitive schedule, with a minimum of 12 hours per week on the field.
Full-board accommodation in sports residence minutes away from downtown Valencia.
Highly qualified coaching staff with years of experience in dealing with international students.
Training and trial opportunities with professional and semi-professional clubs. We have recently had IDA players successfully signed with both Villarreal CF and CD Castellon.
Spanish lessons with a native Spanish-speaking teacher are provided to the players.

COMPETE IN MORE THAN 50 GAMES
At IDA Valencia, we provide a comprehensive player development experience for all our players. Upon arrival, players will be assessed during the pre-season by our coaching staff which will help initiate the individual player plans. In addition to the training regimen, player plans will include placement within our Academy Teams and/or our partner clubs such as UD Vall de Uxo, CFA Quart de Les Valls or UD Betera.
IDA will have a separate competitive schedule, made of weekly matches against different opposition depending on the period of the season, from professional La Liga academies to semi-professional academies and top teams from the area.
INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS
IDA Valencia will attend the prestigious MIC Tournament in April in Barcelona. This event has become a compulsory event for football’s greatest institutions. Many of the largest clubs and national teams have joined in the tournament and featured their prominent young players who have gone on to play professionally.
Our Academy will also attend the Surf Cup International Salou. This tournament brings together teams from Spain, Portugal, France, USA, and other countries from around the world.

At International Development Academy Valencia, we’re proud to offer a high-performance academic experience designed specifically for student-athletes. In partnership with TPH Academy and Mas Camarena School—one of Spain’s premier international institutions—students benefit from a flexible, NCAA-compliant, and fully accredited academic model built around their athletic lifestyle.
Located just minutes from downtown Valencia, Mas Camarena Resort serves as the residential and training hub for IDA Spain athletes, while academic sessions are supported by a blended learning environment that combines certified, virtual coursework with in-person guidance from TPH’s Heads of Academics and Success Coaches.
With access to 120+ courses, including AP, Honors, foreign languages, ACT/SAT prep, and even college-level options, each student follows a personalized academic plan tailored to their training and competition schedule. The result is a structured, immersive education that prepares student-athletes to become independent, college-ready learners—without compromising their development on the field.

European Sports Business School offers a sports marketing bachelor's degree and multiple master's degrees. Students will work with La Liga Clubs and be guaranteed an internship somewhere in the world.
Student-Athletes will be enrolled from November to April in a Spanish Coaching course, where they can deepen their knowledge of the game and have a taste for a potential career in coaching.
Players will be immersed in the Spanish culture and go on bimonthly excursions, where players will visit historical and characteristic Valencia sites.
Spanish classes will be available during the course of the year.

A professional career in football - whether it be in Spain, other European countries, or North America, we will help them through our agents and collaborators.
Jeremy De Leon is just one of our student-athletes who have signed professional contracts. He now plays for Real Madrid and was a part of the team for the 2024 Champions League. He made his debut for the senior national team at the 2024 World Cup Qualifier.

A collegiate career - IDA has great experience in student placement in the US. We help our players determine if DI, DII, or DIII is the right fit for them and their goals.
One of IDA's most recent college success stories is Arik Duncan, who played DI soccer at the University of California, Berkeley after his time at IDA Valencia, where he also competed for UD Vall de Uxó. Arik’s journey didn’t stop there—he was drafted 44th overall in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft by CF Montréal.
