THE UK EXPERIENCE
At IDA UK, student-athletes ages 15 to 22 worldwide receive a professional academy football experience coupled with a specific, personalized academic program.
Intensive training and a competitive schedule, with a minimum of 12 hours of football provision per week.
Boarding at 'Hillside Court', a secure student village offering 24/7 video surveillance in the heart of Reading town center.
Highly qualified coaching staff with years of experience in dealing with international students.
Train and play with a semi-professional team, Hartley Wintney F.C., with opportunities to play against top competition.
Academic studies are offered with a wide range of courses and pathways.

COMPETE IN MORE THAN 50 GAMES
Our UK Academy competes in the National Football Youth League and The Tactic League. There are also opportunities to play in the semi-professional non-league pyramid.
IDA will have a separate competitive schedule, made of weekly matches with National League U23 teams. there will also be friendly matches against professional Academy teams.
INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS
IDA UK will attend the Royal Preseason Cup in August. This elite experience is topped with training with professional coaches and competition against top English professional academies.

ACADEMICS
IDA UK offers a variety of high school, gap year, undergraduate, and master options through our partners. With different US and UK curriculums, IDA is able to match our student-athletes to the best fit for them and their futures.
We understand how important life after high school is, so we make sure each student-athlete is set up for success. US Performance Academy has a goal-oriented and intentional focus on each student-athletes future. USPA construct the athlete's calendar, schedule, and courses as a base to support their future goals. This is a US curriculum high school option.
Kings InterHigh is the UK's largest online school with an impressive academic track record. Kings InterHigh will provide athletes with access to outstanding, flexible, online IGCSE and A Level courses, 24/7. With their 16 years of expertise in online learning, students will enjoy interactive and dynamic lessons online, delivered by passionate, qualified, subject-expert teachers, using the latest cutting-edge technologies. Kings InterHigh allows student-athletes to continue with their UK curriculum.
The University of Reading is a premiere college in the UK that is 10 minutes away from IDA. Classes are full-time, on campus, and IDA will work around student-athletes' schedules. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for an experience identical to a US college experience.
Loughborough College is another undergraduate opportunity in the UK that offers courses hybrid (online and in-person a few times per year). This allows for a more flexible schedule while still reaping the benefits of quality education.
Additional Offerings:
UK and European Student-Athletes - BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport (Performance & Excellence), an equivalent of up to 3 A-Levels and will facilitate entrance into University.
Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Sport Management, and Business.
English language courses and qualifications.
FA and UEFA Coaching Qualification pathways.
FUTURE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
IDA student-athletes will receive guidance on what their best pathway would be after IDA. We will support players in their desire to pursue:
A professional football career- whether in England, other European countries, or North America - we will help them through our agents and collaborators.
Malachi Henry is among many IDA UK players who have earned international call-ups. Malachi has been named the Bermuda U17 Captain on multiple occasions and continues to shine at the international level.
A collegiate career - IDA has great experience in student placement in the US. We help our players determine if DI, DII, or DIII is the right fit for them and their goals.
Kaden Foreman took advantage of his gap year by joining IDA UK. IDA helped him find the right fit for college and he ultimately ended up at Rollins College.
