Discover the World of Jujubes

    • Jujube Journey: Jujubes, often called Chinese dates, start off green and crisp on the tree, then turn a rich reddish-brown and develop a sweet, spiced flavor as they ripen. You can eat them fresh or dried!
    • Crunchy or Chewy, Your Choice: Fresh jujubes are crisp like apples, while dried ones have a chewy, date-like texture. Whether you love a fresh crunch or a sweet, satisfying chew, jujubes will come through for you.
    • Sweetness with a Twist: Jujubes are naturally sweet with hints of caramel and spice. You can enjoy dried jujubes alone as a snack, add them to teas, or mix them into baked goods for a touch of fall flavor.
    • Harvested with Care: California farmers harvest jujubes in September and October. They either sell them fresh or leave them to dry under the sun. The drying process concentrates their flavor, so dried jujubes are extra sweet.

Rock Front Ranch

Rock Front Ranch is a 320-acre farm near Santa Maria, California. It produces delicious jujube fruits that sell under the name Just Jujubes. Alisha Taff founded Just Jujubes and takes care of its organic jujube orchards. Alisha is a proud Asian-American, and for her, sharing jujube fruits is a way to celebrate her heritage.
