A huge "thank you" to the 7 teams with around 30 players who attended the first Family Music Quiz on Saturday 17th November 2018. A second one is planned, hopefully sometime in January. Check this website for the date, or ask Derrick or Alison from the Boathouse for details.
(3) Reggae / Ska / 2Tone / Lovers Rock / Dancehall
(4) Old / New Soul
(5) 1980 - 1999
(6) Popular Classics
(7) 2000 - 2018
Other popular genres such as Rock / RnB / Pop / Disco / Motown / Club Classics etc will be included in the Decade Rounds (2), (5) and (7).
Scoring will be 2 points per picture in Round (1)
In all other rounds it will be 2 points for the group or artist and 2 points for the title.
For partially correct answers, you will score 1 point.
Teams can "PLAY THEIR JOKER" to double the points they score in their chosen round.
NB : This is a FUN Family Music Quiz, not "University Challenge". We confidently expect most teams will get well over half the questions right and hence predict a VERY close contest.

Walking Route from Barking Station
Turn right out of Barking Station and walk down the hill. Continue straight, through the pedestrianized town centre. When you reach the end, cross the road by St Margaret's Church. Follow the diagonal path across Abbey Fields for a couple of minutes, as shown below. Then cross over the street and walk to your left down Abbey Road. Turn right into the courtyard when you get to the Nisa Local Shop.
