We are Ghood Girl Magic,

a parade specialty unit birthed by streetwear brand, The Ghood Kind. In Charlotte, NC, on November 22, 2018, we will be featured in the 71st Annual Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade, awarded as one of the Top Ten Holiday Parades in the country!

With our unit, we empower girls and women to love who they are by celebrating minority characters and women in the form of life-size dolls.

This is awesome, and such a creative way to make a powerful statement. Love it!

Because girls of all shades should feel beautiful... too

We created Ghood Girl Magic out of frustration and empathy for the millions of girls and women who look to a world that seldom reflects them. Or worse, villifies them based on the color of their skin. Children as young as four adopt the same views, affecting how they view the world and how they view themselves.

With Ghood Girl Magic, we target young girls and women, with a mission of making diversity a life-size reality. By celebrating the beauty of minority women and characters, we encourage young girls to see themselves as beautiful, valuable and capable of achieving anything.

In the heart of the Queen City

We're proud to have our unit featured exclusively in the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Charlotte market is growing fast (a decade-long growth rate of 59.6%, which officially made Charlotte the fastest growing city in the country) and becoming increasingly diverse.

The African American population has increased 45%, the Asian population 97% and the Hispanic/Latino population 140%*.

We're looking for Beauty Partner to provide twenty (20) makeup kits


The Benefits

In return, our beauty partner will receive:

  • Exclusive logo placement on parade handouts, distributed during the parade to a crowd of over 100,000 in attendance every year.

  • Viral reach for your brand. Last year we generated exceptional buzz with a social feature from The Shade Room. A total of 1.4 million people were reached!
  • Direct marketing/influence to over 60 millennial influencers in the Charlotte market; models and make up artists alike.
  • A strengthened, brand connection to consumers by attaching your products to our cause. Make lasting impressions on young girls soon to join your target market.
  • (Optional) Branded "Beauty Lounge" for the day of the parade make up and beauty preparations (photo booth, gift bags and more); we have a confirmed venue at the Queen City Ballroom of Embassy Suites - Charlotte Douglas Airport
