The 4c team has a combined recruitment and executive search experience of 120 years and a track record of success in delivering business critical roles and placing leaders across the globe, this experience has given us access to the best local and international talent across a variety of sectors and industries.
Our staff have achieved additional qualifications from the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), the industry body for recruitment in the UK, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and have been trained by the Executive Researchers Association. 4c is a corporate member of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) and Association of Executive Recruiters (AER).
Gary Irvine
CEO and Founder
Gary is a highly reputed and respected business leader in Northern Ireland, having founded and grown Diamond Recruitment Group (DRG) to a turnover of £40m over 26 years, which he sold in 2015 to a UK plc.
With his unprecedented credentials gained through growing DRG, alongside establishing a GB-based recruitment firm Neuven and Chairing the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, the £32billion UK recruitment industry trade body, Gary decided to launch 4c Executive in 2013.
Gordon Carson
Managing Director
As Managing Director, Gordon Carson leads the team to deliver the exceptional service for which 4c is widely reputed. Prior to joining 4c, Gordon held a number of senior roles in the services sector in the UK and Ireland, following more than a decade within the manufacturing sector across Europe and the USA.
With over 25 years’ international business experience, Gordon possesses a strong strategic outlook and an outstanding practical knowledge of the key commercial factors driving a business’s sustainable growth and success.
Claire Reid
Head of Delivery
With over 17 years’ experience within recruitment, Head of Delivery Claire Reid, has provided extensive guidance at the highest level to key stakeholders in Northern Ireland – including leading fundamental recruitment processes for the PSNI, NI Water, Almac, Moy Park, Belfast City Council and Ulster Bank.
Claire has a Masters in Human Resources, is a Chartered member of CIPD and has a Diploma in Personnel Management. Claire takes responsibility for overseeing the delivery of all assignments and acts as an escalated point of contact for our clients and candidates.
