Sometimes we all need a kick start - someone to help us with focus, give us a guiding hand, or sometimes we need a butt-kicking accountibility coach. If so, this course will feel like a personal trainer for your business allowing you to start the new year right.

Often, what we started out dreaming of changes due to market demand, new good ideas, the influence of others, or even just the passage of time. If that has happened to you and your business, then this may be the recalibration you need to get focused and start having the productive sales conversations.

Four sessions to kick start your business in 2026


The South Kitsap Chamber of Commerce in partnership with WinSource will be offering a four session series to help bring clarity, focus, and actions to your business. 2025 is poised to be a great year to grow your business and we want you to be ready.

These sessions are geared toward companies that sell business to business products and services but will benefits anyone that is involved in sales or customer aquisition.

The sessions do build off of each other and are great to attend as a series. However, you are also welcome to sign up for just the sessions you find most applicable.

Session length 1.5-2 hours with additional post session self-paced work.

Sessions will be a mix of companies and fellow chamber members. However, you will have plenty of opportunity to tailor the content to your specific business.


The Sessions


1) The Business Model Canvas and Pricing Strategy

The first session will help you get your business organized. We'll cover the basics of why your business operates, who it serves, how it will make money, and how you'll position it so you can acquire customers and get revenue flowing. We'll even walk you through a pricing module to help you get clear on what you should be charging for your services.


2) Ideal Customer Profile and Personas

This workshop will help you get laser focused on who you are chasing. Too often new businesses market to the wrong crowd, post and pray for a social following that never happens, or worse they take on starter customers at a discount just to get revenue flowing. Any of these can cripple a business. We'll help you build an Ideal Customer Profile and also build a plan to find your idea buying personas. This will help you put your efforts in the right places and ensure the deals you chase are right for your business.


3) Value Proposition and Positioning Your Business

To attract customers, you have to tell the story of your business in their language, not yours. When people ask you about your business you have only seconds to catch interest. If you stumble all over yourself trying to describe it, if it takes 5 minutes and a sketchpad to get the idea across, or if you find people stare blankly at you while words continue to fall out of your mouth - you need this session. This session focuses on getting clear about why prospects need your services, how they will benefit, and helps you create talk-tracks that will grab attention without being 'sales-y'. After this workshop, you'll never be at a loss for just the right words when someone asks what you do. This will greatly improve your sales conversation and will help a ton when networking.

4) Goal Setting and Starting The Sales Engine

There are many sales blockers - time management, misaligned priorities, not selling the right way, and fear are things that can slow you down or cause progress to stall. In this session, we'll help you organize your time, get laser focused, and remove any barriers that may be standing in the way of you getting your message to your prospects. We will also discuss best practices for sales activity, how to best structure your selling time, and get you some easy to employ actions that will help you see results quickly.
