An Apple a Day Keeps Boring Snacks Away

Crisp, juicy, and full of flavor, apples are the ultimate snack to energize and satisfy you. Whether you like them sweet, tart, or somewhere in between, there's an apple for everyone!

Dive into the World of Apples

  • Apples Galore: Apples come in a variety of colors—red, green, yellow, and even bicolored or striped. Each type has a unique taste, from sweet to puckeringly tart, offering something for every palate.
  • A Classic Look: Apples are known for their round shapes and perky stems, but some varieties are more oval. Their iconic shape makes them easy to hold and snack on.
  • Sweet, Tart, and Everything In Between: Apples range from sweet and juicy to crisp and tart. Whether you like a Granny Smith's tangy bite or the honey-like sweetness of a Fuji, there's an apple flavor you'll love.
  • Ready When You Are: California farmers harvest crisp and delicious apples from July through September when each variety is at peak ripeness. If you store your apples in a cool place they’ll stay fresh for weeks, ready to snack on whenever you are!

A Legacy of Freshness from the Heart of California

Italian immigrant Alex Sambado founded Primavera in Linden, California, in the 1920s, and his family still runs the farm’s growing, packing, and shipping business today. They grow tasty cherries, apples, and walnuts, and they also pack produce from nearby farms, handling every piece of fruit with care. The Sambado family's dedication to quality and their longstanding commitment to farming make Primavera’s apples and other produce go-to local snacks.
